Recommend to others: Yes
Pros: challenging layout with a mix of some long and short holes, make a day of it and play diamond ridge
(a much shorter more open course)to prepare for a good test in the woodlands
Cons: some bindshots...having course knowledge or playing with someone who has played before is a big plus
Price Paid: 49$
Comments: a must play, if your trying to decide which to play go with the woodlands if your a serious golfer, if your a weekend hacker or just starting out play diamond ridge

Very nice

Recommend to others: Yes
Pros: Very green and in excellent shape. Greens were on the fast side, but were in excellent shape.
Cons: Lots of blind tee shots.
Price Paid: $37 (twilight)
Comments: This golf course definitely benefited from all of the recent rain. Everything is lush and in excellent shape. I personally think this is a difficult course and the blind tee shots dont help!

Very Good

Pros: maintenance
Cons: price
Price Paid: Expensive
Comments: This is is a very good course that is well maintained. It can tend to be more expensive, but with Diamond Ridge ridge right next door you can play a similar course for less money.

Favorite

Comments: My favorite and most often played course. I play the Woodlands about 15 times a year and I'm strictly a weekend golfer. This course will challenge the mid handicapper golfer with it's windy fairways. You really need to be careful when choosing your club and watch out for the woods and rough on both sides of most fairways. Hole #17 is a tough par 5 with it being dog leg left, downhill to an intimidating green.

Good in all the right places

Comments: This is the one golf course that is right in all the pertinent areas. The course alone is challenging, well kept, scenic, and reasonable priced!

Good and Bad

Written by Jack Tuesday, 01 April 2008

Recommend to others: Yes
Pros: Very well maintained
Cons: Blind tee shots
Comments: It is difficult for me to write a review for this course because in one sense it is maintained really well but on another sense the course set-up is really horrible. If you are headed up that complex, play Diamond Ridge and save money. There is just way too many blind tee shots. They are trying to be too "cute". Just give me a straight-forward par 4. I don't really enjoy myself when I hit a great drive right down the middle but the fairway drops 90 degrees and I can't find my ball.

Comments: Tough. Greens were being aerated (sp?) when I was there but otherwise were ok. Well maintained, shares a clubhouse with diamond ridge.
