Opened in 1999, the course was designed by P.B. Dye -- son of the famous golf course architect, Pete Dye. Having made a well-known name himself, P.B. Dye agreed to designate his masterpiece as his only signature course.
Like other Dye courses, PB Dye Golf Club features railroad ties, pot bunkers, and an island green on the par-3 11th hole.
PB Dye Golf Club is the only course in Maryland to feature Penn G-2 bent grass greens. One of the newer seed varieties, G-2 is also used at the Pinehurst No. 2 course. Throughout the course, closely mowed collection areas and the large greens replicate conditions seen on the PGA TOUR.
The fairways are large, rolling, and well-guarded by bunkers. PB Dye Golf Club offers over 40 acres of closely cut fairways, making for a firm playing surface where big drives are the norm. Many of the fairways roll downhill from the tee and allow for spectacular tee shots, so don’t hold back!
The most unforgettable feature at PB Dye Golf Club is the beautiful waterfall and twin ponds that flank the 9th and 18th greens. Situated under the Clubhouse, this attraction is a truly remarkable site and a fitting place to complete a round of golf on a great golf course!

Recommend to others: Yes
Pros: great layout, wall to wall bent grass, nice practice area.pb dye is a unique golf course designer...lots of mounding, bunkers(some pot bunkers),railroad tie faces on greens, tees and bunkers
Cons: no gps, pricey at times, course gets a lot of play so some of the par three tee boxes were chewed up and ball marks all over the greens
Price Paid: 41$
Comments: interesting layout, a must play for the serious golfer, course is very playable but greens are severely sloped(some with multiple tiers)and very fast. i'd recommend you play the course with someone who has played it or you really need to play it atleast twice, so you'll know where your going
