Golf Etiquette refers to rules and courtesies that players abide by when playing golf. These rules are meant to increase the safety and enjoyment of all the players on the golf course. Included here are some general guidelines to follow when playing golf.
Simply put, your golf handicap is the average number of strokes that you shoot over or under par on a standard 18 hole golf course. In order to calculate your handicap, you will need your last five 18-hole scores (five is the minimum required for calculating your handicap), the course's slope, and the course's rating.
