Review of the Adams Golf Ovaition 2 Driver

Adams Golf Ovation 2 DriverAt first glance, the Adams Golf Ovation 2 looks like every other driver;  it has a stylish design, large 460cc head, extra lite shaft, and the promise to cure your driving woes.  While few drivers live up to the promise of curing your slice, hooks, and duffs, Adams Golf definitely sends you in the right direction.  Miss-hits still result in significant distance while good contact produces a picturesque ball flight and a significant amount of roll after landing.

Design
With it's all black design, the Adams Golf Ovation 2 appears sleek and stylish.  Dull yellow and white lettering blend nicely with the black shaft.  The bottom of the club head is a standard metallic color displaying the standard information: loft, make, model, and club head size.  The head cover mirrors the club design being predominantly black and yellow.

Playability
As previously mentioned, the club is extremely forgiving.  Poor contact results in a significant amount of distance.  Good contact produces an excellent trajectory.  Gains in distance were noticed, particularly in the amount of roll after the golf ball has landed.  The club played has a regular flex shaft with a 10.5 degree 460 cc head.  The flex in the shaft is surprisingly stiff for a regular flex shaft.

Value
Priced at under $100, this driver is a bargain.  This driver compares to models that that retail more than three times it's price.
