Tiger never ceases to amaze me - he played like crap but still manages to pull it out. I think it is interesting that they reported that no player outside of the top 100 world rankings has ever won the US Open. Rocco would be the first, and the oldest. I find myself actually rooting for the underdog on this one.....
I def agree, I found myself routing for Rocco just to see it happen. Though I would have felt bad for him if he won because no one would have given him credit. They would have said Tiger lost it, not Rocco won it.
That being said how amazing is Tiger, we learn two days after he wins, that he has to have re constructive surgery on that knee, and is done for the rest of the tour season.
There is no doubt that Tiger is amazing. Watching him play, wincing after every shot hurt me. He is lucky he didn't do permanent damage. Now that he is out for the rest of the season, everyone on the PGA has probably taken a sigh of relief...now they have a chance to win some tournaments. lol.
